DVSA Tyre Probe

A DVSA Tyre Probe Tool Designed in conjunction with DVSA to enable safe inspection of surface splits in vehicle tyres and used in DVSA Authorised Testing Facilities and MOT stations throughout the UK for inspecting both domestic and commercial vehicle tyres.

This probe has specially designed profile enabling splits and cuts in the tread profile to be opened up for ease of inspection, and its rounded tip prevents puncturing or damaging the tyre further while inspection is carried out.

As with many tyre probes the DVSA tyre probe can also be used for removing stones and other foreign objects from the tyre tread.
