Teco 270 – 12 Volt – Semi-Automatic Tyre Changer

Specifically designed for tyre industry professionals for working on car and light commercial vehicles. The Teco 270 – 12 Volt – Semi-Automatic Tyre Changer is suitable for working on wheel diameters from 11″ to 22″ (13″ – 25″ Inside Clamping) without any adaptors or mechanical adjustment. The Teco 270 is an Semi-automatic class tyre changer.Suitable for both mobile fitting platforms as well as workshops and garages that work on a low volume of general wheels and tyres on a daily basis.

Semi-automatic class tyre changers have fitting arms that move into position by hand and locked off with a hand lever. It also has a very small working footprint making it an ideal choice for garages, workshops and mobile vans. Or where there is a minimal amount of space available to install and operate a tyre changer. A manual locking system reduces the amount of air required to operate the tyre changer, reducing risk of damage to wheels from fitting arms unlocking due to drop in air pressure.

12 volt power systems

The Teco 27 semi-automatic Tyre Changer is the best choice of tyre machine to use in mobile tyre fitting work. These tyre changers use a 12 volt DC motor. Instead of a 240 or 415 volt AC motor as usually found in workshop based tyre changers. The turntable is powered by the vehicle electrics instead of mains power therefore tyre fitting work can be carried out wherever the van can reach.
